Minimum Requirements
? 1-3 years of
recent and relevant
experience as a:
Conveyancing Secretary or,
Legal Bond Cancellation Secretary or,
Bond Cancellation Secretary
? Proficiency in
Microsoft Word and Excel.
? Strong ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
? Resilient personality.
? Must be able to work independently and with initiative.
? Full-time | Office-based | 08:00 - 16:30

List of Duties:
Process and prepare bond cancellation instructions and supporting legal documents in accordance with the Bank's requirements and the firm's procedures.
Liaise with the bank, clients, attorneys, and the Deeds Office to coordinate and finalise bond cancellations within strict timelines.
Specifically managing the administration and finances of cancellation instructions by ensuring compliance with the bank's financial and documentation requirements.
Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements and maintain up-to-date client records.
Capture and update matter progress on conveyancing/ Bank software systems.
Provide general administrative support to the Conveyancing Department, including file management and routine correspondence.
Regular progress and update reporting to the Bank and Attorneys.
Accurate drafting of all documents relating to bond cancellations.
