Junior Behavioural Therapist
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior ABA Therapist to join our team. The therapist will work under the supervision of a senior clinician to support children with autism and other developmental needs through one-on-one therapy sessions. This role involves implementing individualized programs, collecting data, and helping children develop communication, social, and daily living skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 therapy using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
Follow treatment plans designed by a senior therapist or supervisor
Collect and record accurate data during sessions
Support children in reaching developmental and behavioral goals
Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
Communicate regularly with the supervising therapist
Requirements:
Passion for working with children with special needs
Matric certificate (further studies in Psychology, Education, or related fields is a plus)
Must have previous ABA experience
Reliable, patient, and eager to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to receive training and supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R6000,00 - R7500,00 per month
