Representing clients in court, advocating for their human rights claims, and seeking redress for violations. Including bail applications.
Research and Investigation:
Conducting in-depth research and investigations into alleged human rights abuses, gathering evidence, and interviewing witnesses.
Legal Advice and Counseling:
Providing legal advice and guidance to clients, helping them understand their rights and legal options.
Advocacy and Public Engagement:
Participating in advocacy work to promote awareness and public support for human rights issues.
Policy Development:
Working to influence legal reforms and institutional changes that promote human rights protection.
Minimum Requirements
Admitted Attorney with 2 years PQE
Proven experience in Human Rights law and litigation
Solid understanding of Human Rights and civil law
Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills
Excellent attention to detail
