Are you the kind of person who screenshots great layouts, collects memes for inspiration, and can't help tweaking fonts when something "just doesn't look right"? If you love design, live online, and want to turn ideas into scroll-stopping visuals, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

Design for Social - Create engaging visuals across formats like static posts, carousels, reels covers, GIFs, and stories. Support Campaign Execution - Bring concepts to life alongside copywriters and senior creatives. Translate Trends into Content - Spot visual styles on TikTok/Instagram/X and adapt them into brand-worthy executions. Assist in Content Creation - Help with light motion design, simple edits, and real-time reactive content. Design with Accuracy - Ensure logos, fonts, spelling and brand elements are consistent and correctly applied. Brainstorm & Contribute Ideas - Be part of creative sessions and pitch visual routes with confidence. Stay Curious About Culture - Keep tabs on meme formats, TikTok aesthetics, and emerging platform behaviour. Get creative behind the camera - We've got the equipment, you've got the ideas. Let's make it happen. Support with Admin & Delivery - Help organise working files, prep exports, and ensure artwork is correctly sized and delivered for publishing.

What You Bring:

0-2 years of experience in art direction / graphic design / digital content creation (freelance or internship experience counts!). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite / Figma (as long as you're willing to learn quickly). A love for social media design and content creation -- you're constantly analysing why certain posts go viral. Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling. Eagerness to grow your motion and editing skills (bonus if you already dabble in After Effects, CapCut, or Premiere). Ability to take feedback well and use it to level up your work. A proactive, "let me try!" mindset -- you don't wait to be spoon-fed ideas. Bonus: Ability to incorporate local culture, kasi aesthetics, or South African humour into your work.
