Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Architect to join a collaborative, design-focused studio in the Somerset West / Stellenbosch area (hybrid role). This role offers hands-on exposure across all project stages, ongoing mentorship, and strong growth potential within a professional architectural environment.
Key Requirements
? Degree in Architecture (BArch or equivalent).
? 1-3 years' working experience in an architectural practice.
? SACAP registration (Candidate Architect).
? Proficient in Autodesk Revit (essential). (Note: CBD Architects operates fully in Revit -- no AutoCAD workflow.)
? Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
? Basic understanding of SANS and National Building Regulations.
? Good design sensibility with attention to detail.
? Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
? Assist in producing accurate Revit models and technical drawings.
? Support municipal submission packages and council documentation.
? Coordinate information with consultants under senior guidance.
? Assist with site documentation and revisions where required.
? Ensure compliance with building regulations and internal standards.
Advantageous Skills (Optional)
? Rendering experience (D5, Lumion, Enscape, or similar).
? Understanding of BIM workflows.
? Site experience or construction exposure.
? Strong graphic presentation skills.
