Overview
Omnia's Agriculture division the market leader in southern Africa, comprises Omnia Fertilizer and Omnia Specialities. The division produces granular, liquid and speciality fertilizers for a broad customer base of farmers, co-operatives and wholsalers throughout southern and East Africa, Austrailia, New Zealand and Brazil. The division is expanding its influence in Europe, South America and Asia, where it is increasing its sales of speciality products. The Omnia Agriculture division's range of specialised products and services are encompassed by its unique Nutriology offering which assists customers to optimise crop yield and quality.
Qualifications
A minimum of a BSc (Agronomy) and (Soil Science)
Experience
Previous or similar work experience will be a definite advantage. 5 years Agronomy experience.
Duties
Work in close cooperation with Omnia Regional Management. Provide professional fertilization and agronomic advice to farming enterprises. Function as an integral part of and be central to the Omnia Marketing Model. Provide strategic support to Omnia representatives/agents.
Job Competencies
Sound knowledge of fertilizer and chemical products with fertilization recommendations in mind. Excellent language skills (verbal and written). Presentations skills. Computer literacy. Interest in a dynamic marketing environment.
