Duties and Responsibilities

• Posting of journal entries
• Maintaining fixed asset register and posting depreciation journals.
• Maintain data related to Fringe Benefit Vehicle Depreciations.
• Update Investment interest file monthly
• Balance sheet reconciliation for ALL Entities
• EMP201, VAT reconciliation and submission
• Liaising with external auditors
• Assist Admin staff in coordinating tasks and queries at branch level.
• Weekly Cash Flow forecast
• Update and Track the Projects vs Funding and prepare report to FM timeously.
• Coordinate Intercompany loans
• Manage Investec Accounts transfers
• Maintain monthly Journal Listing file and Peer review of Journals posted by Bookkeepers.
• Maintaining monthly Budget File
• Maintaining Monthly Year-End and Audit File
• Conduct Peer reviews of Cash Books, Petty Cash Entries, POS Banking Control Account on a weekly basis.
• Assist with preparing year end Audit Packs for reporting to shareholders/directors and auditors.
• Prepare high quality audit file, with all necessary supporting documentation prepared.
• Assist with annual budgeting process for related entities.
• Preparation and Presentation of Monthly Management Accounts for related Entities
• Dealing with and managing ad hoc queries

• B-Com degree with completed Articles
• 5 - 10 years of accounting experience within the same role
• Working knowledge of Pastel, VAT requirements and SARS submissions xe2x80x93 Not negotiable
• Proficiency in MS office, particularly Excel
• SAGE / Evo experience essential Not negotiable
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Attention to detail, strong financial analysis skills
• Work well under pressure and apply strict time management skills
• Presentation and Communication skills
