Junior Accountant

Job Description
A well-established supplier and distributor of petroleum products is looking for a dynamic Junior Accountant to join their team based in Ballito.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of Fixed asset register / fleet register
- Analysis of income and expenditure
- Balance sheet recons
- Intercompany transactions / reconciliations
- Vat Reconciliations and VAT201 submissions
- Maintain and update fleet insurance / submission of claims
- Preparation of management reports
- Processing of payroll journals
- Reconciliation of stock
- Other adhoc administration duties not limited to the above
- Matric (Grade 12)
- National Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Financial Accounting or Related
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (With advanced MS Excel skills)
- Must be able to work in a highly pressured environment and be deadline driven
- SAP Business one / Caseware experience will be an added advantage
- Must be able to work as part of a team
