Financial Accounting & Reporting
Assist with processing and posting of daily financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Capture supplier invoices and ensure proper authorisations.
Process customer invoices, receipts, and statements.
Perform supplier and customer reconciliations.
Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve queries.
Banking & Cashbook
Maintain and reconcile company bank accounts.
Process and allocate bank payments and receipts.
Assist with petty cash management and reconciliation.
Tax & Compliance
Assist in preparing VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and transport industry regulations.
Operational Support
Provide financial support to transport operations and commercial teams.
Monitor cost allocations for fleet, fuel, maintenance, and logistics expenses.
Assist with stock control, fixed asset registers, and depreciation calculations.
Ad-hoc Duties
Support internal and external audits.
Provide general administrative and financial support as required.
