We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Perform daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain and reconcile ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and ensure accurate reporting aligned with hospitality operations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Liaise with internal departments to gather financial data and provide support on financial queries. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls. Support audits and assist in preparing audit schedules. Continuously suggest process improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of hospitality accounting software (e.g., Opera PMS, SunSystems, or similar) is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
