Job Summary Job Title: Junior Accountant - Mining
Location: Northern Cape
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their mining company in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and processes, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support the finance team in daily accounting tasks
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with external audits as necessary
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to the finance team
Requirements:
- BCom degree with preferable completed articles at a reputable auditing firm - plus 6 to 8 years of experience
Benefits:
- Salary: R600k - R900k
