Junior Channel Account Manager

Full-Time, Permanent, remote position in South Africa only

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage and sync contracts between our CRM and ERP systems Generate daily and monthly AR invoices in multiple currencies and locations Send statements to customers and manage debt collections Liaising with customers queries/admin Maintaining and managing AP - ensure completeness. Perform reconciliations between ERP system and supplier records confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate authorisations Timely AP payments Reconciliation of AR and AP general ledger accounts (TB/ageing/ledger) Process payments and receipts in the ERP system Ensure timely bank account reconciliations Ensure tax compliance (VAT) for AP invoicing Support month-end and year-end close processes Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows Prepare external auditor requirements with the guidance of management Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency Resolve AP and AR issues before they become larger problems Ad hoc finance related tasks as they arise

Requirements and Skills

Diploma in Accounting/Finance Proven track record in similar roles Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (SalesForce, Sage Intacct, Airbase, Excel and other applications as we scale) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to work with different team members in various locations and time zones Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently Take accountability and responsibility for quality of work produced Team player!
