Junior Accountant (contract)
Job Description
Fuzion Transport is looking for a dynamic Junior Accountant to join the team on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities include:
Bookkeeping to trial balance.
Manage full accounting function (journals, reconciliations, financial statements).
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records across multiple business units.
Processing/capturing all creditors invoices, keeping records of invoices.
Reviewing creditors/creditors reconciliations.
Effective management of the full debtor's cycle.
Maintaining accounting controls and procedures.
Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and statutory requirements.
Filing and organising all financial documents.
Processing all bank statements and monthly reconciliations.
Processing all EFT payments.
Maintaining petty cash schedules and relevant administration.
Requirements:
Completion of BCOM or relevant financial courses .
Minimum 3 - 5 years accounting experience (experience in multi-entity/group structure advantageous).
Proficient on MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail, organised, disciplined and ability to multi-task.
Ability to work under pressure.
Team player who can also work independently.
