Key responsibilities:
Key role in daily and month-end accounting over various sub-processes; Refreshing of Hyperion daily reports; Reviewing the bi-weekly cash position; Preparation of the monthly VAT recon; Hosting and minuting the monthly credit meetings; Reconciling Kerzner Management accounts; Conducting compliance audits periodically; Implementation of controls and processes to address risks and any remediation plans required; Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts; Analysis of monthly results & ad hoc assistance to heads of department; Compiling data for Financial reporting to the BoD, KIM (head office) & external stakeholders.




Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 years' work experience in an accounting environment; Knowledge and experience of statutory financial accounting and USALI essential; Advanced computer literacy (advanced knowledge of MS Excel essential); Comfortable interacting with internal clients at senior level; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Accuracy & attention to detail; Deadline orientated
