Junior Accountant
Location: JHB or CPT
Reports to: Financial Controller
To support the finance team in executing standard accounting activities and ensuring accuracy in financial records and reporting in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities:Deliver accurate and timely outputs for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare statutory reports and assist with compliance tasks.
Collaborate with other finance team members to meet reporting deadlines.
Support the audit process through provision of requested documentation and information.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts.
Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-2 years of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles considered).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Proficient in Excel and exposure to ERP systems is a plus.
