Job Description
Our client is a notable figure in the real estate industry. Operating for almost 2 decades, they have embedded themselves in the residential sector and have branched into commercial property too. With most of their clients based in Gauteng and the Western Cape, they have a Head Office in the City of Cape Town and an additional office in Johannesburg. With a recent vacancy in their Cape Town team, they are looking for a Junior Accountant. This role will have you working in the Sectional Title and HOA Department.Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Raising year-end journals,
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly management reporting
- Account reconciliations
- Checking of Debtors and Creditors
- Accounting up to trial balance
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- A National Diploma/Degree in Accounting or a similar tertiary qualification
- Experience using MDA/WeConnectU/Pastel will be advantageous
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in the Property sector
