About the Role
As a Junior Sales Consultant, you'll support the Geospatial Sales Manager in developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting innovative surveying and geospatial solutions. You'll combine your technical surveying knowledge with people skills to help customers identify the right tools and technologies for their needs -- making this an excellent stepping stone into a technical sales career within a niche, high-growth field.
Key Responsibilities
Support sales performance and help achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Build strong customer relationships across key sectors including surveying, agriculture, utilities, and education.
Conduct research to identify customer pain points and propose suitable geospatial solutions.
Develop new business while maintaining regular engagement with existing clients.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to deliver campaigns and attend product launches.
Capture and manage customer information and opportunities using CRM systems.
Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge, attending relevant training sessions and events.
Ensure a professional, timely, and solutions-driven customer experience.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related field.
1-2 years' experience in surveying; sales experience or certification will be highly advantageous.
Understanding of geospatial technologies and related industries.
Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-based environment.
Tech-savvy and eager to learn about new tools and digital platforms.
Valid driver's license and own transport (willing to travel nationally).
