Johannesburg - GautengENVIRONMENT:A cutting-edge AgriTech company where intricate design intersects with inventive creativity seeks a strategic-thinking Product Manager / Product Owner with a technical aptitude to understand complex systems and technologies to drive product success while ensuring exceptional user experiences. You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of product strategies to meet business goals and customer needs. They will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, and beyond, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands. Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in Business/Engineering/Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years work experience in a similar role preferably in Tech/Software, with the ability to translate customer needs into product requirements. You also need to be proficient with tools such as Jira, Trello ,or Asana, Google Analytics or Mixpanel & have proven UI/UX Design experience through a comprehensive portfolio.DUTIES:

• Develop and execute product strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers to identify opportunities and prioritise features.
• Define product roadmap and prioritise features based on business impact and customer value.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, specifications, and release plans.
• Analyse product metrics and user feedback to iterate and improve product performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product decisions.
• Act as a product evangelist by effectively communicating product vision, value proposition, and updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the product development process, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Manage product launches and post-launch activities, including marketing campaigns and user training.

REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.

Experience/Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in the Technology or Software industry.
• Demonstrated success in launching and managing products from concept to delivery.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Proven track record of Product Management in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Product Management best practices.
• Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
• Proficiency in Project Management tools such as Jira, Trello ,or Asana.
• Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
• Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with Developers for implementation of designs.
• Proven UI/UX Design experience through a comprehensive portfolio.
• Abreast with latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Design Thinking principles and UX/UI best practices.
• Experience with B2B or SaaS products.
