ROLE SUMMARY: Asset management through key performance indicators (KPIs) as priority driver towards a well-maintained and healthy mining, crushers, and materials handling assets. This primarily by focussing on:
Asset maintenance system management
Provide site support on maintenance system, planning dynamics, and resource support
Continuous reporting on asset KPIs and identifying, implementing and key focus areas to improve asset performance
Report on mechanical downtime and support operations to minimize downtime through urgent responsiveness
Ensure data integrity on all asset information
Prepare weekly engineering meeting
General administrative task management
Quarterly site maintenance system audits
Technical detailed reporting (component failures and investigations)
Root Cause Analysis
Analyse and manage important asset maintenance systems

Deviation inspections
o
Close out actions and follow-ups
o
Scheduled and planned maintenance
o
Asset interventions, product improvement and service letters
o
OEM engagements and relationship management
o
Oil analysis management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong numerical and interpretation skills and abilities
Advanced computer literacy, specifically Excel and Power Point.
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
Good communication skills
Strong Analytical and Systematic thinking ability

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
N. Dip or Degree in Mechanical Engineering completed (compulsory).
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
