Job Description
We're hiring a Junior Logistics Coordinator! A position has become available for a Junior Logistics Coordinator with previous fruit/export experience in the Winelands.
Minimum Requirements:
- Suitable Diploma / University degree - preferred
- At least 2 years experience in an export/agriculture role
- Understanding export procedures and systems
- Proficient with DiPAR/Paltrack (preferred)
- Stock system administration - daily intakes, dispatches, general stock control using DiPAR
- Shipping Administration - Load entry on system, Booking confirmations, Q67, load filing etc.
- Weekly bookings and confirmations of container volumes with shipping lines / C&F agents
- Organise and co-ordinating of road transport
- Generate Loading instructions to cold room/Packhouse/Ports
- Follow up loadings with cold room /Packhouse/Ports
- Complete and submit Shipping Instructions
- Client Allocations using DiPAR
- Generating & preparing of documentation for C&F Agents and Clients
- Liaison with C&F agents
- Sailing schedules update and distribution.
- Follow up of stock and loading related queries
