EXPERIENCE:

Previous Distribution Centre experience required

At least 1 year experience in the Temporary Employment Services industry

At least 2 years' experience within a similar supervisory role

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Sound knowledge of the BCEA, WCA, LRA and all employment related legislation

Computer Literate (MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint)

Good time management skills

Ability to uphold good relations with clients.

Interpersonal and communication skills

SOME DUTIES:

Responsible for the Crew Schedules to be drafted and communicated to the Site Supervisors and crew, with route planning and pickup times.

Completion of Allocation Sheets - from allocating crew to completed hours.

Responsible for the Quality Checkers and General Workers and making sure that they fulfil their duties.

Responsible to update the different Whatsapp groups, as and when required.

Sharing of all information on the Whatsapp groups communication ON TIME: discrepancies, extended hours approval, final reporting, etc.

Assisting with claim investigations and implementing proactive measures to prevent or reduce claims.

Sorting out any discrepancies that may arise, immediately on site.

Responsible for ongoing refresher training for crew and supervisors

Approving leave of Site Supervisors and/ or QC's and general workers

Instituting disciplinary action where required.

Arranging for replacement of staff due to leave or not pitching for work.

Making sure that the correct PPE is issued to site staff.

Making sure site staff wear the correct PPE all the time.

Providing the Branch Manager with daily, weekly and monthly feedback.

Managing and controlling overtime of site staff and site supervisors.

Maintaining good client relationships.

Regular site visits, maintaining a good relationship with receiving managers & staff.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R8000,00 per month
