Job Description
Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Certification in Boiler making
- 2-5 years' experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Paint plant working knowledge
- Experience within automotive paint shop would be advantageous
- Engineering, Fabrication and Technical skills.
- Experience with manufacturing cleaning processes ( advantageous)
- Must be accurate with a strong sense of detail
- Excellent Analytical skills
- Must be willing to work shifts and overtime if required by the Company
- Manage team off fabrication assistants in line with production and paint plant needs.
- Verify success of jig cleaning when jigs are returned to site
- Repair all jigs, trolleys, dunnage, skids, frames and relevant checking fixtures on daily basis for production's use to prevent downtime.
- Co-ordinate outsource cleaning of eliminator filters weekly
- Plan, manage, monitor and validate shutdown activities within paint shop in line with production and plant requirements.
- Conduct General Maintenance with respect to office infrastructure upkeep
- Manage workshop tools, equipment and supporting infrastructure for current and future needs
