Java Developer - Linux (telecommunications sector) - PretoriaIntroductionWe are seeking a Junior Java Developer to join our fast-growing client in the telecommunications company. You will be responsible for designing and developing Java applications, frameworks, and libraries that meet the needs of their business.Duties & Responsibilitiesxe2x80xa2 Analyze business requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirementsxe2x80xa2 Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, frameworks, and librariesxe2x80xa2 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop solutions that integrate with existing systemsxe2x80xa2 Develop and perform unit tests to ensure code meets quality standardsxe2x80xa2 Provide technical support to the development team and end-usersxe2x80xa2 Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standardsDesired Experience & Qualificationxe2x80xa2 Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldxe2x80xa2 Proficiency in Java and related technologiesStrong experience in a Linux environmentxe2x80xa2 Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patternsxe2x80xa2 Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)xe2x80xa2 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsxe2x80xa2 Strong communication and collaboration skillsStrong Linux operationg system experienceTelecommunications sectorPreferred Qualifications:xe2x80xa2 Familiarity with agile development methodologiesxe2x80xa2 Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL databasesxe2x80xa2 Experience with messaging systemsPackage & RemunerationR360 000 CTC - R500 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications
