PBT Group is looking for a Lead Java Developer to design and build innovative, sustainable, and bespoke software solutions. If you're passionate about cutting-edge tech, driving value, and shaping the future of applications, this role is for you!
What you'll do:
Lead solution design and development across front-end and back-end systems.
Engage with business and tech stakeholders to align on strategic roadmaps.
Drive coding, testing, and handover of robust, secure applications.
Collaborate across teams to spot new opportunities and deliver improvements.
Champion Agile/DevOps practices and mentor the team in best practices.
What you bring:
5+ years Java development experience.
Strong SQL and full-stack skills (Java, Spring Boot, Angular, NodeJS, Docker, Microservices).
Experience with tools like Kafka, Maven, TeamCity, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat.
Familiarity with banking/financial services domain (advantageous).
Problem-solving mindset, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Relevant Tech/Engineering/Science degree.
