Job Description

A dynamic Point of Sale (POS) company based in Morningside is seeking a skilled and reliable

I.T & POS Technician

to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in POS software and hardware, with a strong understanding of networking, CCTV systems, and database management.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and support POS systems and related equipment. Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and user training. Set up and maintain small to medium-scale networks. Install and configure CCTV systems. Write and troubleshoot SQL queries and perform basic database maintenance. Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in POS systems and IT support. Solid knowledge of POS software, hardware, and peripherals. Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches). Working knowledge of CCTV installation and maintenance. Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (essential)

. Willingness to travel for installations, support, and training at client sites.
