A dynamic Point of Sale (POS) company based in Morningside is seeking a skilled and reliable
I.T & POS Technician
to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in POS software and hardware, with a strong understanding of networking, CCTV systems, and database management.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and support POS systems and related equipment.
Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and user training.
Set up and maintain small to medium-scale networks.
Install and configure CCTV systems.
Write and troubleshoot SQL queries and perform basic database maintenance.
Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in POS systems and IT support.
Solid knowledge of POS software, hardware, and peripherals.
Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
Working knowledge of CCTV installation and maintenance.
Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (essential)

Willingness to travel for installations, support, and training at client sites.
