The IT Support Technician will be responsible for provided technical and application support to our Head office and Retail Stores countrywide telephonically and remotely, being the primary point of contact for any IT related queries. In addition to the support role, The IT Support Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware and Software, Troubleshooting of Printers, Network equipment, CCVT and Voip and telephony systems. The Technician will also be responsible for logging, assigning, resolving IT Tickets timelessly. The Position requires the Support Technician to work at least one weekend in the month since we are Retail, we operate on weekends as well. Key responsibilities: Serve as help desk through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone, to help resolve issues. Provide remote support using Remote software like Teamviewer and Anydesk. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software. Provide support to Our in house (POS) Point of Sale System Ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Suite applications including (Microsoft 365. Word Excel. Power point, Access, Onedrive and etc) Respond within agreed time limits to call outs at the stores. Testing and evaluating new technology. Email and Internet troubleshooting. Network troubleshooting and maintenance Configuring and troubleshooting network printers Basic server administration and support Ability to configure and troubleshoot Routers. Knowledge of CCTV, NVR and cameras (Advantage) Knowledge VOIP and IP phones (Advantage) Clone PCxe2x80x99s using Clonezilla. Ticket logging, Assigning, and Resolving. Escalate any unresolved issues to the IT manager. Assist with all adhoc duties required in the department. Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (A+, N+, MCSE) 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance Retail and Point of sale system knowledge advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills Attention to detail.
