Managed People Solutions is looking to hire a IT Technician Level 2 for a very well known Wine Distributing Company based in Woodmead, Johannesburg (Sandton).

Key Responsibilities :

• Help Desk Updates: They serve as the first point of contact for end-users who need technical assistance. This could involve responding to phone calls, emails, or help desk tickets, and providing timely and courteous support.
• Password Resets and AD Account Management
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues - hardware and software problems, network connectivity issues, server-related problems (Windows, Linux (optional), Azure Cloud. The candidate will be required to be able to setup and commission Windows Server 2016 -2019.
• Office 365 Administration: Good working knowledge of Office 365 with 2-3 years active experience. Areas of expertise xe2x80x93 Office 365 Admin, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online
• Remote and On-Site Support: They provide both remote and on-site support to end-users and may need to travel to various locations to assist with technical issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
• Application Support: Provide support for business applications, ensuring they are properly configured and functioning as expected. They may collaborate with developers or vendors to address application-related issues.
• Network Troubleshooting: They assist in diagnosing and resolving network-related problems, including LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• User Training and Documentation: maintain and update SOP documentation and assist in user training.
• Hardware and Software Maintenance: perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance tasks. This could involve replacing faulty components, updating software, and ensuring systems are up to date with patches and security updates.
• Monitoring and Alerts: responsible for monitoring IT systems and networks, responding to alerts, and taking proactive steps to prevent potential issues.
• Vendor Coordination: work with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to third-party software or hardware.
• Documentation: Update and maintain SOP

Qualifications :

• A+ | N+ or equivalent (internationally recognized certification)
• 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience
• Experience in rolling out projects (within scope of skilled requirements)
• Degree, Diploma in an IT field (Beneficial)
• Studying a network engineering qualification (MCSE, CCNA, etc) (Beneficial)
