Troubleshoot and diagnose IT systems, peripherals and network issues.
Resolve helpdesk queries.
Training of Vaal Central Water personnel on utilised programs, new technologies, best practices and cyber security.
Create knowledge base.
Document IT issues, resolutions and systems configurations.
Responsible for hardware and software support and maintenance.
Evaluate, test and ensure compatibility and capability of hardware and software within Vaal Central Water systems.
Provide remote and onsite support for all systems and hardware.
Configure mobile devices.
Troubleshoot IT systems, network and maintenance, including VOIP system management.
Maintain IT inventory.
Assist users with data recovery.
Monitor systems performance and network activities.
Ensure compliance with the IT policies and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Work with vendors to resolve technical issues.
Attend to all assignments as directed from time to time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
National Diploma in IT or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT.
Experience in desktop support.
Experience in Microsoft products (Office/Office 365, Outlook, Windows 11 and lower).
Experience in troubleshooting IT hardware and software issues.
Experience in first- and second-line support.
Valid Driver's License.
Report writing skills.
