Job Description

IT Junior Technicians to diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of computer systems. IT Technician responsibilities include installing and configuring computer hardware and being the primary point of contact for IT support within a company. Junior IT Desktop Technician Duties: xe2x97x8f Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wired/wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, by department standards. xe2x97x8f Make sure that the internet and phone is available/working at all times. xe2x97x8f Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting. xe2x97x8f Identify, log and resolve technical problems with xe2x97x8f Attending or responding to tickets on the ticketing system (Freshservice). xe2x97x8f Provides advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents. xe2x97x8f Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability. xe2x97x8f Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. xe2x97x8f Upgrading/updating systems or computers to enable compatible software on all computers. xe2x97x8f Installing and upgrading/updating OS software to ensure security at the user level. xe2x97x8f Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance. xe2x97x8f Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and by department guidelines.
