Position: IT Technical Support Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring their IT systems run smoothly. You will work closely with our clients to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues they may encounter, as well as provide ongoing maintenance and support for their IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networking equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT systems
- Identify and escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff
- Train clients on the proper use of technology and software applications
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends to provide proactive support and recommendations to clients
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures for technical support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and virtualization
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
