About the Role:
Our client, that operates within the construction industry, is seeking an IT Systems & Support Administrator to take full ownership of their internal IT function. This is a hands-on role that will support 100 staff members, manage systems and platforms, and work directly with external developers to ensure the company's internal systems are optimised and reliable.
The successful candidate will be handling IT management in-house. You'll handle everything from end-user support, hardware procurement and setup to system reporting and integration - ensuring smooth IT operations and accurate data insights for decision-making.
Working hours:

  • Monday: 07:30 - 19:00
  • Tuesday - Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
  • Friday - 07:30 - 13:00
Minimum requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage
  • 3+ years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar multi-system environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Good understanding of data analytics and dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI, ClicData, or similar).
  • Experience with cloud and SaaS platforms (e.g. Smartsheet).
  • Proven ability to set up and manage IT processes (e.g. hardware procurement, device setup).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities independently.
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Systems & Platform Administration
  • Maintain user accounts, licences and billing for company software.
  • Coordinate with app developers for new features, upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee integration between platforms to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
  • Data & Reporting
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards
  • Compile and analyse statistics for company projects, resource hours and key performance indicators.
  • Provide management with actionable insights and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • IT Support - End-User & Hardware
  • Provide first-line and advanced technical support for desktops, laptops and mobile devices (Windows and common business applications).
  • Diagnose and repair hardware faults (e.g. drives, memory, power supply) or coordinate external repairs.
  • Install, configure and update operating systems, security patches and application software.
  • Resolve software conflicts, malware incidents and performance issues.
  • Manage backups and basic network/wifi connectivity issues.
  • Incident Management
  • Log, investigate and follow up on system incidents.
  • Capture and document root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
  • Cross-Departmental Support & Training
  • Provide clear, non-technical explanations of system issues and solutions to internal teams.
  • Deliver ad-hoc training and create user guides to improve adoption of new tools or processes.
  • Liaise with project managers and finance to support operational and reporting requirements.
