It Systems Engineer (tech Tactician)
Job Description
Leading a small team responsible for desktop, server, and systems support
Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and peripherals
Troubleshooting Microsoft and Linux systems, as well as PED/card payment devices
Managing and supporting Wi-Fi and tethered scanning equipment
Working with Unified Device Management Systems
Skills & experience:
Minimum 5+ years' experience in Desktop Support, Systems Admin, or Network Support roles
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and a working understanding of Linux
Solid experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnets, DNS)
Previous exposure to PED/card payment devices and device management tools
Proven ability to lead, support, and troubleshoot in a high-demand environment
Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant degree
