The successful candidate will have completed or be in possession of the following:
Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology
• Vendor and/or industry certifications in Telecommunications (Data, VPN, VoIP)
• Vendor and/or industry certifications in Cyber Security (Firewalls, Endpoint, End-to-End)
• Server administration experience would be advantageous (VMware, Windows)
• Cloud administration experience would be advantageous (AWS)
• Surveillance and Access Control experience would be advantageous (CCTV, Biometrics)
• 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Telecommunications environments
• 3+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience with Cyber Security tools
• Proficiency with Administrative duties
• Must have a valid Code B driverxe2x80x99s license

To be successful in this role, the successful candidate must have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of Network Infrastructure including demonstrated skills and experience in:

• Design, specification, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of a multi-service national enterprise network infrastructure
• Supervision and training of junior staff performing the same, or similar, work

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain network documentation
• Maintain hardware and software standards
• Provide onsite and offsite network support for internal and external client environments
• Provide exceptional levels of service and assistance to rectify and solve issues as they are reported

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Able bodied to perform duties in a physically challenging environment
• Ability to work across a variety of teams to provide high-level technical support for data network

Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate:

• Plattekloof, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
