Job Description
A leading treasury solutions company in South Africa is in search for a young dynamic Systems Administrator.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Azure-based infrastructure, including Azure VMs, firewalls, NSG policies, and storage accounts.Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in Desktop support for end-users and to international clients to assist implementations of our Management System.Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, including Azure VMs, firewalls, NSG policies, and storage accounts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
- Optimize Azure environment post-migration to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide desktop support for end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation.
- Installation and maintenance of Treasury Management System xe2x80x93 IT2
- Working with international vendor and their clients to manage implementations of IT2.
- Setting up connectivity between customers and banks, including SFTP and API connectivity.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Azure environments.
- Proficiency in managing Azure VMs, firewalls, NSG policies, and storage.
- Preferred certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with VDI solutions, particularly Parallels RAS, is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
