detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT Technician
to join our growing
Field Services team
. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to our clients, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, implementing solutions, and maintaining IT infrastructure both remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Perform system updates and operating system upgrades.
Monitor and maintain networking equipment and servers.
Assist in designing, implementing, and supporting new software and features.
Ensure network availability and security.
Troubleshoot system and network errors.
Provide helpdesk support via phone, remote access, and site visits.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Configure and maintain user equipment and software.
Set up equipment for new users and perform system onboarding.
Install, test, and monitor servers, firewalls, and software updates.
Conduct data backups and system restores.
Implement network improvements as required.
Support servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computer repairs, software, virus protection, Wi-Fi, and related systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
Strong, professional personality -- organized, polite, and dependable.
Excellent verbal, written, and reporting communication skills.
Confident telephone and customer interaction skills.
Education:
Minimum of a high school certificate.
Certifications:
CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or similar (e.g., MCSE).
Cloud experience:
Required - Office 365 (MS-100, MS-101, or MS-201), Azure.
Proven experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support professional.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
Goal-oriented, proactive team player.
Physically able to stand, bend, squat, and lift IT equipment.
Additional Requirements
Previous experience in
IT field support and customer service
is essential.
Valid
driver's license
and
own vehicle
required.
Traceable references.
Shift work
may be required.
