IT Support Graduate (Permanent, Full-Time)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Graduate to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis in South Africa. As an IT Support Graduate, you will provide technical assistance to staff and clients, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and contribute to maintaining efficient IT systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, peripherals, and network systems (e.g., Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, or Fortinet).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and common IT applications.
Log and track support tickets using helpdesk software, ensuring accurate documentation.
Support end-users remotely or in person, delivering clear and professional guidance.
Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades, data backups, and cybersecurity initiatives.
Monitor IT systems for errors and escalate complex issues to higher-level support when needed.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with procurement processes.
Stay updated on emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the South African market.
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from a recognized South African institution.
Completion of any required internship or practical training as part of the qualification.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or Cisco CCNA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of IT systems, including MS Windows, Microsoft Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with Office 365 administration (e.g., Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams and clients.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
South African citizenship or valid work permit.
No prior professional IT experience required, but exposure to IT support environments is beneficial.

Salary Range: ZAR 8,100-15,000 per month, depending on qualifications and location.
