IT Support Consultant - Kempton parkProgressive organisation based in Kempton Park is looking for an IT Support TechnicianQualification:MatricIT Qualification in A+, N+ or similar preferredPrior experience in IT support, networking, or system administration is preferredStrong Junior IT Technicians with basic skills are encouragedFamiliarity with IT systems, troubleshooting techniques, and network management (LAN, basic firewall knowledge is a bonus).A willingness to learn and contribute to the team.Ability to effectively communicate and assist end-users with technical issues in a clear, professional manner.Responsibilities and Experience:The IT Support Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.The role will perform system maintenance, including installing updates, troubleshooting problems, and optimising performance.This function includes but is not limited to:Provide day-to-day support to users on IT hardware, software, and network issues (including printers and basic software troubleshooting).Assist with setting up and maintaining IT equipment and systems.Support network monitoring and help resolve connectivity issues.Perform regular system updates and patch management.Assist with maintaining accurate IT records, including inventories and network maps.Occasional visits to national offices for scheduledmaintenance.Ensure systems are maintained in accordance with security best practices.Assist in maintaining IT documentation and user support resources.Assist with IT equipment levels and the ordering of new equipment as well as the maintenance of current equipment.Ad hoc tasks as and when necessary.For more information please contact:Carol Britz
