About the role
This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in IT who enjoys troubleshooting and providing customer support. As a Remote Support Technician, youll be part of a 24/7 service desk, assisting global clients in the mining and construction sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support across networks, servers, and remote systems.
- Monitor systems and perform routine maintenance.
- Handle support queries via telephone, email, and chat.
- Escalate issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
- Produce reports and keep records of incidents and resolutions.
- 1+ years experience in an IT support role.
- Relevant IT or networking degree/certification.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to work shifts as part of a 24/7 team.
- R300k R420k annual CTC
