Job Summary
IT Project Manager | Stellenbosch, Cape Town
Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid (2 days in-office)

What you will do:
Plan, execute, monitor, control, and finalize software implementation projects according to defined scope, budget, timelines, and technical requirements.
Develop comprehensive project plans that outline deliverables, resources, and schedules.
Manage and coordinate the efforts of all project stakeholders, including internal teams, third-party vendors, and clients.
Define clear project objectives and ensure alignment with business and client goals.
Oversee and maintain quality control throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on course.
Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration.
Promote a collaborative and solution-oriented environment where ideas and best practices are shared.
Ensure project documentation, reporting, and governance requirements are met.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are managed and project outcomes are achieved.
Work both independently and within a team structure to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
Project Management qualification or certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile, etc.)
5+ years' experience managing IT or technology projects
Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder software implementations
Solid understanding of project management tools (MS Projects, Jira, etc.)
Knowledge of methodologies like Agile, Prince2, PMBOK, or MS Solutions Framework
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you build trust and collaboration naturally
Experience in the Insurance or InsurTech industry is a definite plus
