A global pharmaceutical company has a 6 month contract position for an IT Coordinator. Job Purpose:
The IT Coordinator is a hybrid role where the role holder will provide both IT Support to end users and work collaboratively across all businesses within the affiliate to understand requirements and ability to leverage current solutions when appropriate.
Maintains effective relationships with all levels of management at the affiliate. He or she is the IT steward of the IT portfolio at the site.
Works with all levels of IT management to understand portfolio planning and ensure adherence to corporate direction related to global solutions and PMO requirements to ensure projects compliance is maintained in the local PMO system and coordinated demand management portfolio and compliance locally and regionally.
Assist with Audits, to ensure proper recertification repository is maintained at the different sites for system and infrastructure requirements.
Assist in the delivery of IT solutions or infrastructure solutions, collaborating with all lines of business for the benefit of the affiliate locally and regionally when required. Ensuring delivery and support of all IT solutions used in the country (e.g. BPCS legacy ERP system, WATS asset management, local payroll system etc.).
Provide end-user support, incident management and ticket management at the local site. Provide end-user trainings when required participate in change management according to local demand
Education:
Degree in IT Or Computer Science and/or engineering
Experience:
Work Experience - At least 5-10 years of experience in IT, preferably in the health care industry but not a must. Demonstrated end-user management and projects management or implementation, preferable PMI certification but not a must.
Integrity - Must deliver on time and meet expectations of customers
Interpersonal Skills -Must be a strong team player to support IT's efforts and goals within the affiliate. Must be able to work with all levels of management from general manager to finance director to individual contributor
Coordinator - Must be excellent at coordinating the activities of all service providers within Division IT and BTS
Technical and Analytical Skills - Able to detect, understand and solve all kinds of IT- related problems.
Detailed knowledge of standard computing environments (Business Systems, Windows, Office communication, ERP, LAN/WAN, network and system security).
Basic understanding of accounting. Project management. Experience/understanding of commercial standard processes (finance, controlling, purchasing, logistics) of a large organization.
Understanding and experience of applications, lifecycle management, documentation requirements
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to relate with users, service providers, and management
Proactive and self-motivated approach, able to work independently
Strong analytical skills and the ability to combine technical knowledge with customer support skills
Installation and support of wide range of peripherals
SOX compliance knowledge
ITIL framework knowledge
Language Skills - Fluency in English and one local language is essential. Additional languages a plus.
