Job Description

IT Project Co-ordinator required in Centurion, on a hybrid working model (3 days in office) for a 12-month contract within the telecommunications industry. The IT Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for coordinating and tracking progress on multiple telecom IT projects, monitoring timelines and deliverables, and providing regular status reports to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

• Build and align WBS plans from product backlogs or scopes.
• Facilitate and gather inputs to develop realistic, achievable project schedules (Waterfall, Agile).
• Work with stakeholders to chart clear project milestones.
• Monitor the critical path and dependencies.
• Report on deviations, risks, and progress.
• Sync costs to approved business cases.
• Keep schedules updated and governance-approved.
• Coordinating and tracking progress on multiple telecom IT projects.
• Monitoring project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
• Providing regular and accurate reports on project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders.
• Analyse project data to identify areas for improvement and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Assist with identifying risks and proposing solutions.
• Managing and coordinate project tasks, timelines, and deliverables for multiple telecom TAC projects.

Requirements:

• IT Project Management Qualification.
• MS Project 2010+ Certification.
• Agile training from a recognised institution.
• 3-5 years experience scheduling projects/programmes.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical Thinker.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
• Advanced scheduling skills: Critical Path Method.
