Outstanding Career opportunity for an experienced and dynamic IT Sales Manager/Product Manager to join fast growing Market Leaders in the Telecommunication Distribution specializing in high quality Networking Infrastructure Solutions Nationally and to Neighbouring Countries. The Company is seeking a Product Manager to Spearhead a new Networking Divison within the organization building a diverse Product Portfolio and drive the Sales of active Networking equipment. Responsibilities include :-

  • Establish and develop the new Network Solutions Division execute a comprehensive Business plan

  • Build a comprehensive Product Line-up and select Networking equipment to Customers across the Country
*
  • Work closely with Internal Teams including Sales, Marketing and Technical Support

  • Ensure the New Division

  • Success and growth

  • Identify Market opportunities, evaluate competitive Landscape an define the Divisions Target
*
  • Work closely with Senior Management
*
  • Conduct through Market Research to identify active Networking equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers
*
  • Evaluate potential products based on quality, reliability, pricing and Customer demand
*
  • Negotiate Contracts and establish strong Partnerships with Vendors to ensure diverse and competitive Products
*
  • Monitor Industry and trends and Technology advancements to drive Product innovation and maintain competitiveness

  • Sales and Marketing

  • Matric plus Tertiary Product Manager, Sales Manager etc.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills able to make decisions effectively

  • Proven track record in Product Management, preferably in a Networking or Telecommunication Industry

  • Strong knowledge of active Networking equipment, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Wireless solutions
*
  • Familiar with the South African Telecommunications market and dynamics
*
  • Experienced in the ability to develop and execute Business plans, including Market analysis, Product positioning and sales strategies
