Job Description
Job Summary Responsibilities:
- Designing new SQL databases and configuration for private markets
- Building new portals for clients to access portfolios in meaningful ways
- Overseeing IT infrastructure, architecture, desktop support and network performance
- Identifying, assessing and managing IT risk, including cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
- Developing and maintaining IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards
- Implementing and monitoring disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks (POPIA, GDPR, FICA, and FATCA)
- Developing, reviewing and updating IT and compliance policies and procedures
- Conducting regular audits and assessments
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Law
- 5 years' experience in IT operations, compliance or similar, within financial servers
- Financial background and commercial understanding in asset management
- Strong management experience
- Experience with IT risk, governance and compliance frameworks
