Job Description

We are looking for an IT Systems Operations Manager in Stellenbosch.
The incumbent will oversee and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient system performance across various international sites.
This role covers system administration, server management, cybersecurity, and technical support, with a strong emphasis on innovation and future-focused IT solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Microsoft, Salesforce, networking, and automation, backed by relevant certifications and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Location: Stellenbosch, South Africa (In Office)
This role is central to ensuring robust IT operations, secure systems, and seamless technical support. Youll be responsible for managing servers, enforcing IT policies, supporting system integrations, and contributing to future-focused tech development.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee system administration, server management, and cybersecurity.
• Support Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and related platforms.
• Lead IT infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and automation efforts.
• Contribute to IT policy development and project implementation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in IT systems administration or operations.
• Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft 365, Windows, Salesforce, and networking.
• Certifications in ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, or CISSP.
• Proven problem-solving ability and experience with cybersecurity frameworks.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Moodle or other Learning Management Systems.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, instructional design, and accessibility standards.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus.

Skills Required
