It Operations Lead Property
Job Description
Plays a critical role in maintaining reliable IT operations, effectively technical mentorship, enhancing cybersecurity, IT Service Management (ITSM), supporting users, and contributing to the strategic use of technology to achieve the Companys business objectives efficiently and securely.
Qualifications:
Matric
Relevant tertiary or industry qualification in IT
Minimum Experience 5 years in a similar role
Skills Ability to lead, mentor, and manage an IT team effectively.
Proficient in planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects (e.g. infrastructure upgrades, system integrations).
Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
Knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and data protection.
Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtual environments.
Expertise in managing databases and utilizing data for decision-making.
Understanding of industry regulations (e.g., POPIA, ITIL, COBIT) and ensuring compliance.
Knowledge of IT continuity, backup systems, and recovery strategies.
Managing the adoption of new technologies or processes.
Ability to manage IT projects from initiation to deployment.
Strong overall business acumen and administration skills.
