Job Description

Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
IT Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that align with the organization's goals.
  • Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and expenditures.
Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and applications.
Project Management:
  • Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with other departments to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions.
Cybersecurity:
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's data and IT assets.
  • Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
Vendor and Asset Management:
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal performance and value.
  • Oversee the procurement and lifecycle management of IT assets.
Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective helpdesk operations and user support services.
Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure IT operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.
  • Experience: 12-15 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity practices, and various software and hardware technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
