Job Description
The IT Manager will be responsible for planning, delivery, security and ongoing management of IT systems and services across the SA operations. Ensuring stable, secure and cost-effective IT services IT services that enable business objectives, while leading a local IT Team and managing Vendors, projects and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high availability, performance and reliability of all IT Services, including networks, servers, endpoints, applications and cloud platforms
- Manage on-prem, hybrid and/or cloud infrastructure - Microsoft Azure, M365, AWS
- Implement and maintain cyber security controls to protect systems, data and users
- Translate business strategy into a local IT roadmap aligned with group or regional directives
- Lead IT projects including upgrades, migration and new system implementation
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers and system integrators
- Control IT budgets, forecast expenditure and track ROI Technology investments
- Lead, mentor and develop the local IT team (support, infrastructure applications)
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
- 7 - 10 years experience in IT, 3 - 5 years in IT management or lead role
- Strong experience in Infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and user support.
- ITIL Foundation certificate
- Microsoft (Azure / M365), AWS or equivalent certificates
- Cybersecurity, governance or project management cert
