Job Description

You'll take charge of the full IT function--with a strong focus on applications, integrations, software vendors, and infrastructure governance--while reporting directly to the Managing Director and engaging regularly with executive leadership. This is a critical role for someone who can bridge the gap between tech and business strategy, manage outsourced development, and drive results through a small internal team and shared services.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of IT management experience, ideally in software-heavy environments
• Experience working with outsourced development vendors and managing the full application lifecycle
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, backups, endpoint protection, and security practices
• Familiarity with audit, compliance, and reporting
• Experience managing IT budgets and producing business-aligned reporting
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including working with executives

KPA's:

• Oversee the operations of business-critical software systems and ensure stable API/integration performance
• Manage vendors, software costs, renewals, and licensing
• Lead a dedicated IT support team, coach and prioritise work aligned to business needs
• Liaise with the infrastructure shared services to ensure uptime, patching, backups, and security
• Support audit processes and track risk items to resolution
• Act as the key IT contact for senior stakeholders, presenting system updates, delivery timelines, and risk management strategies
• Manage the IT budget and report on performance, cost optimisation, and service delivery

Nice to Have:

• AWS certifications
• Java OCA
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or CI/CD processes
