Our client is looking for an IT Manager who will be responsible for the IT infrastructure, security systems and technology growth for the business. To oversee all computer related tasks, problems and solutions within the business.

• Qualification: Bachelor of Science: Computer Science
• Years working experience: 10 Years +
• Practical Experience in SQL Server, Crystal Reports, MS Office, MS Windows all versions including Server, ERP software, Cloud PABX administration, Disaster Recovery and Backup procedures
• End user support - One-on-One, remotely and telephonically on ERP and POS systems, MS Office and MS Windows
• Desktop support on different Windows versions
• Maintenance of Active Directory and O365 Exchange
• Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary ensuring business requirements are met and all the correct procurement procedures are adhered to
• Managing and reporting on the IT budget allocation
• Effectively managing IT suppliers to ensure maximum value and cost effectiveness
• Coordination and project management of logistics relating to moving IT equipment including telephone systems
• Training users on systems and procedures
• Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software and operating systems
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures, not limited to
• Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and back up procedures
• Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively
• Accurately maintain the asset registers of IT equipment
• As the designated POPI Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the polices on POPI and be the first point of contact for queries
• Adhere to information security and control structures i.e. POPIA
• Coordinating technology installations, upgrades and maintenance to ensure minimum impact on business operations
• Alignment of users job description with system access rights
