Job Description

Responsibilities include:

You will manage our virtualization platforms (Proxmox / VMware / Hyper-V), maintain Windows and Linux server environments, administer Ubuntu headless application servers, and oversee Docker workloads and containerized services. You'll work extensively with our TrueNAS systems and ZFS storage pools, manage SAN/NAS resources, and support large-scale data workflows.
You will maintain and optimize our firewall and network stack, including pfSense and Fortigate firewalls, IPsec tunnels, SD-WAN policies, VLAN design, routing, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and switch infrastructure (Reyee, UniFi, Mikrotik, or similar).
You will be responsible for Microsoft 365 tenant administration at a Global Admin level, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune device management, compliance policies, licensing, identity management, and tenant security.
You will support Windows and macOS devices, assist users with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite applications, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Esko plugins, and help optimize performance for production and creative teams.
You will maintain automation and scripting processes, build and update PowerShell and Bash scripts, implement monitoring/alerting, handle Veeam backup and recovery operations, and ensure strong documentation across all systems.

Required experience and skills:

5+ years in a senior IT role with broad infrastructure responsibility Strong virtualization knowledge (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V) Solid Linux administration, especially Ubuntu server and Docker containers Strong knowledge of hardware maintenance specifically Dell PowerEdge range. Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience Expertise with TrueNAS, ZFS, NAS/SAN storage, and data lifecycle management Hands-on firewall and security experience (pfSense + Fortigate) Knowledge of IPsec VPNs, SD-WAN, VLANs, routing, NAT, DNS, and DHCP Skilled in Microsoft 365 administration (Global Admin level) Experience with Intune, device compliance, conditional access, M365 security & auditing Familiarity with smart switches (Reyee, Mikrotik, TP-Link, etc.) Must understand how Wazuh or how any SIEM solutions works EDR/XDR platforms (Eset, Defender, CrowdStrike) Experience with

PBX systems

(3CX, or hosted VOIP platforms) Proficiency in PowerShell scripting; Bash scripting experience beneficial Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication (VM backups, file recovery, DR workflows) Ability to support Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux endpoints Experience supporting Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Esko-based production environments Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices

Additional beneficial skills:

Knowledge of monitoring systems (Promethous, Grafana, Proxmox metrics, etc.) Able to build a TrueNas storage device on a Dell PowerEdge server Experience with SSO, MFA, and identity security Handle hardware/software procurement Familiarity with hardware lifecycle management and capacity planning ITIL or formal change-control experience Ability to create and maintain diagrams (Visio, Draw.IO) Asset management Change management processes Knowledge how to setup/maintain a RMM product (Syncro, SuperOps, Sentinal) IT policies, procedures, and SOP writing
